Official Drop Off Location for Peyton's Toy Drive!

Peyton's Toy Drive

Please join us and help us fill the room with toys for the children in the ICU at the Children's hospital of Buffalo with Peyton's Toy Drive. Toys, gift cards, and cash donations may be dropped off any time leading up Dec. 9th!

Peyton was just 17 months old when she underwent major brain surgery to remove a colloid cyst from the third ventricle in her brain which was resulting in sudden obstructive hydrocephalus and presenting with severe symptoms.

She spent several days in the ICU at the hospital and we didn't leave her side once. It was through that time that we realized some children and parents could not be together for whatever reason while in the ICU and we wanted to do something to help those children feel more comfortable for the duration of their stay, so after Peyton was home and had recovered, we decided to bring up some toys with us.

What had started out as a simple Facebook post asking friends if anyone cared to join our small donation of toys quickly turned into a large community of caring neighbors with hundreds of toys to cram into the van, and thus, Peyton's Toy Drive was born.

This is now year three, last year was bigger than the first and we are hoping to continue that pattern of giving. Won't you join us? While we don't get to actually SEE the joy in a sick child's face upon receiving the gift of a toy from a stranger, it sure gives a warm feeling to imagine that maybe for even a second it diverts the attention away from the pain, even for a moment.

Help us fill the room!
