Preparation to intern with us:

  1. Prepare to learn the McKenzie System by reviewing the attached labs for all three spinal areas. We will use repeated movement testing to expose pathology, develop a direction of movement preference for self management and classify patients. There are many excellent manual techniques for force progression within the McKenzie System that are included. These include thrust spinal manipulation.
  2. We will put the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) into practice for movement science evaluation. From this we will gain exposure to Titleist Golf Evaluation and intervention.
  3. Included is a lab on neuromuscular stabilization training with research by Stuart McGill.
  4. Also, please review the shoulder and hip labs for manual mobilization techniques.
